Day at the Museum

We decided to take the kids the the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, BIG mistake! We walked in and the first thing they saw were two giant dinosuars walking around. They were the dinosaurs from the production "Walking with the Dinosaurs." There were people inside them controlling them. Devin and Ava thought they were awesome. Ethan, Owen and Jack took off running in three seperate directions!! We finally convinced them to stay once they put the dinosaurs away, but they were jumpy the whole time!! I don't think the fact that they watched the movie Night at the Museum helped matters.
They are trying to be brave here. I only got one other picture before my camera died :( I can't bring myself to post the other picture because Jack looks so sad in it.

Owen's Recital

Outside of Steamers Jazz club where the recital was held
getting very nervous
ROCKING OUT!
So happy it's over!

Today was Owen's first drum recital and he did awesome! He was so nervous that he had hiccupps! He drummed along to the Jonas brothers year 3000 song. I was so proud of him. Not only did he do a great job, but he was nervous and still went up there and did it. I'll try to upload the video. Good Job Owen!!!!

Preschool Graduation

Jack with Mrs. Shawni and Mrs. Angie
Ava and Emma playing on the playground
The firetruck eating Emma. Don't worry, Whitney was rushing to pick her up and this was like the thousandth time she did it.

Today was Jack's preschool graduation. He will go back again next year, but it was fun to celebrate the end of the year. I have a lot of cute videos of him and his class singing, but I don't know if the other kids parents want them on the internet so I can show you in person if you're interested.

Happy Birthday Ethan!!!

Ethan turned 9 years old on Sunday! I know, I can't believe it either!!! He opted to get a $100 bill instead of a party and I was ALL for that! We were also going to go to Disneyland and collect his birthday fun card, but he wasn't feeling so great. :( So instead we went to Target and Mimi's for lunch. Owen and I went to Disneyland and got Ethan's gift card for him so he can spend it another day. We ended the day at Grammy and Papa Casey's house with spaghetti and cake! It felt like a pretty boring birthday and I was feeling bad, until the end of the day when Ethan announced this was his best birthday ever!!!! Happy Birthday Ethan, I LOVE you!

Mother daughter tea party

Ava trying on a hat. Her shirt started out clean, but this was taken at the end of the party after she ate strawberries!

Despite the look on her face, she LOVED the food

Ava enjoying her "tea" (pink lemonade)

On Saturday Ava and I got to go to a mother-daughter tea party. It was so fun. All the little girls dressed up and we ate delicate sandwiches and drank "tea". It was a dream come true for me!!!
