Walt Disney

Owen's class had to do an oral report about an American Hero. He chose Walt Disney. They had to dress up as their person and present the report as if they were that person. After the report they had a question/ answer session. The kids all ask really hard questions and it's ok to say "I don't know" which most of the kids did. Owen, however, answered every question. Most of the time he was just making stuff up but he was very convincing! One girl asked him how old he was when he decided to build Disneyland. He said "80 or 30" haha. Someone else asked how many Mickey Mouse's he made and he said 1,ooo! The kids all thought that was really cool and his teacher thought he was adorable. He was so cute I wanted to cry.

Beautiful Ava

For those of you who don't know, Ava is obsessed with makeup. I know she is so young for this obsession, but I had to buy her her own lip gloss after she almost poisoned herself using my reed diffuser as lipstick. So today she was playing quietly in Jack's room. I went to check on her and this is what I found. That is my mascara all over her head! She thought she looked so beautiful. Of course it is water proof, but I found that baby wipes are the best makeup removers! While I was scrubbing her head I also realized she had my not so cheap face lotion on. I love this girl!!!!!

Dr. Seuss's Birthday

Today Ethan and Owens school celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday. Last night at about 7:00 they both decided they wanted to dress up as The Cat in The Hat. These are the "costumes" I came up with. I think they look so cute! They had a blast at school and neither one of them lost their tails. They also got to bring their favorite Dr. Seuss book to school to read to the kindergartners.
