Angels game!

Uncle Mark gave all of us box seat tickets to an Angel game. It was so exciting. We are not by any means baseball fans, in fact we've only been to one other game and we sat so far up that the kids couldn't comprehend that the moving dots on the grass were actually people. This was a whole new experience. It was the hottest day of the year, no jokes, we broke records yesterday. But in our box we had AIRCONDITIONING! So we could sit outside in the seats or chill in the room. The kids loved it because they didn't have to sit still. It was another late night, but well worth it! Thank you again Uncle Mark and Aunt Miriam!!

I have a lot more pictures, but blogger won't upload them :(

Different sizes

Ava and Emma are only 26 days apart!
And yes, that's Rachael Ray on the t.v.

Some people are tall and some people are small but lucky for us we love them all!

Owen's baptism

Owen was baptized on Saturday September 25th and these are the only pictures I got. Devin was not as sad, terrified, upset as he looks in this picture, in fact he was as proud as I was. It was a beautiful day and I am so proud of Owen for making right choices. Chase and Desi were also sealed in the temple on Friday. So this weekend has been packed full of fun, family and spritual experiences. It was the fastest, longest weekend of my life and if I had the chance i'd re-live it over and over again.

Tinkerbell Fashion Show

Having matching tinkerbell pajamas made them bond, at least for a little bit.

Best Dad

There are many reasons why I love Devin, but the highest one on the list is how good he is to our babies. When he gets home from work he eats dinner and then takes all the kids outside to play. It doesn't matter what kind of a day he had or how he's feeling he always puts them first. He is so much more fun for them then I am. I have all kinds of rules and safety precautions and Devin has fun. I am soo thankful for him and I know my kids are to because without him there would only be rules and safety precautions!

2 year check up

This little girl had her 2 year check up today. I am well aware that she is 2 and a half, I figured I could go anytime this year. Can you tell she's the youngest? She is 39 inces tall and 28 pounds. Which puts her above the charts for her height and right at the 60% for weight. I told her she can slow down her growing now, I hope she listens. The doctor did say that she is perfectly healthy, but I already knew that!

This is what me and my kids look like in a Catholic church

We attended one of my best friends baby's baptism today. And while it's not something our church practices it was beautiful and an experience for my kids. We talked about different religions and they had good questions. The differences between our churches are amazing. I was so impressed at the size of their church building. I'm glad we got to go, and now we are getting ready for Owen's baptism which is only a week away!

Frenimies

Ava and Emma were marching through the house wearing my high heel shoes and holding hands. Emma was keeping the marching beat with Jacks whistle.
They marched all around and everything was going fine until....
Ava decided she wanted the whistle
That made Emma MAD!

New quilt and a lazy Sunday afternoon

I found this beautiful fall quilt at Walmart for only $19! Go get one, you won't regret it!
And it's Sunday after church. There is pumpkin cobbler baking in the oven and gingerbread cupcakes cooling on the counter and 6 people just hanging out. Life can't get better than this!

Boys

Each morning after I drop the boys off at school I like to straighten up their room. It only stays clean until they come home, but it gets me 3 hours of pure bliss when I walk by and see it clean. This morning I was making Owen's bed and my hand hit something under his pillow. He slept on rocks and bandaid tape! I just have to say that i LOVE having boys. There is never a dull moment. And just when you think you've got it all figured out, you find out that they can sleep on rocks. Why did I buy them beds?

Owen is a cubscout

Owen posing in Ethan's cubscout shirt. I need to get him his own.

We made "fire" out of cd's, sticks, rocks and tissue paper. I think Owen had fun. I'm glad that I get to be his leader.

Sunday

Everyone eating the yummy dessert that Desi made.
Jack and Ava eating dessert
Ava washing dishes
Jack snuck some more dessert.

We eat Sunday dinner at my parents house every Sunday, except for today. My parents are visiting Shay. Whitney, Kelly, and Emma are in Utah so we had a much down sized dinner at my house. I used my parents recipes and made chili and scones and Desi made dessert. It was so good and we are all stuffed!! I am happy to report that it is much cooler today! Hopefully fall is almost here.

Happy Birthday Nana!

Today is my Nana's birthday! To celebrate Chase and I took her out to lunch to her favorite place, Alicias. It was fun to visit with no kids for an hour. Happy Birthday Nana!!!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!

Yesterday was the first day of school and the day my heart hurt. It's so bittersweet to watch your kids go off to school .Especially when it's a kindergartner! I took pictures of every step Jack took walking into his class while tears streamed down my face. I was sad to see Ethan and Owen go to, but i'm used to them being big. But they all had a great day. I guess growing up is harder on moms then on kids.
