Legoland

We decided to take a mini road trip today. I read about a cool artistic park in Escondido that's free and a cool learning experience. After driving for 1 1/2 hours we got to the park and it was closed. Ever seen National Lapoon's vacation? There was no moose to punch. So now we are in San Diego with nothing to do. Devin makes some calls and looks up stuff on his phone and finds out that if you go to Legoland after 3:00 you get in for half price plus you get a free ticket to come back another day!!! We were soooo happy!
This is the kids at the park, they were happy even though we couldn't get into the part of the park we came for.
Legoland was so cool. They even had a tree made out of legos.

Owen's Recital

Tonight was Owen's 2nd recital. He was totally cool not nervous at all, I wish I felt as calm. This is him as we were walking out the door.
It was dark with a few lights on stage so this is the best picture I got of him. He did so good. I had to fight back tears the whole time. What a rockstar, I couldn't be any prouder!!!
This is O with his drum teacher, Billy. Such a great teacher and a great guy.
These are all the other drum students. It was so much fun to watch all the other kids play, but really none of them came close to Owen!
